I'm sitting in my kitchen eating left over pizza, watching "The Social Network" and letting it motivate me. Other tabs open right now are Twitter, Facebook, Dailybooth, Google.
The last line state was "The site got 22 hundred hits with in two hours." my ability to quote this movie intrigues me since I've maybe watched it twice. The first time being in theaters opening night at midnight.
I just posted to my Facebook.
- "I decided to watch "The Social Network" because it motivates me. Interestingly enough after watching the first scene. (The one in the bar with the two conversations going on at the same time.) Jim 'Aquaman' Schnadelbach said hmm look Josh it's you."
Blogging simultaneously... Hmm. One of the quotes I find the most interesting is during the creating of FaceMash, While sitting in his dorm room, and choosing who to send a link to FaceMash. One of his friends says who do we send it to? Mark says it's not who we send it to. The question is who will they send it to?
This question is actually superseded by another question. Will they send it to anyone? This question and fueling that sharing is what I've been trying to do in many ways for the past few years. Later in the movie once the site is ready Mark says to Edwardo get your laptop... because you have emails to everyone in the Phoenix club. Edwardo immediately says back to him. "I just don't know if this is going to be spam."
That fear or feeling of spamming ones friends along with the miss understanding of Social Media is something that I find I battle against. I'm not sure where that leaves us. In the end Mark was putting up Facebook and I do a vlog and webseries. Some people would say content while others... (depending on the video) have said they don't understand why it doesn't have more views cause it was good, funny, enjoyable, shareable, and yet not everyone gets a blog post, a vlog, a video, a comic, a picture, a tweet to take off and "go viral" or heck just get shared.
What triggers the I need to share this now response?

Dark Melody: Action Drama short indie film
Dark Melody is finally online. Go check it out. I will be honest with you. Dark Melody is not the best film ever. I think that with indie films the genres of Action and Drama art the hardest two to do just right. If not they come off poorly acted or just slow. I think that this film is well shot and does well with using a device to tell the story. There is a central shot of the main character playing through a song on piano. This moment is cut through flashbacks to the rest of the story and then the end of the song is the end of the film. So the song is both the beginning and the end of the film. This film is a good stepping stone for those involved and I'm sure that each film Dan makes will grow him as a filmmaker, director, and any other job he chooses to jump into and try his hand at. So check out Dark Melody and enjoy this independent work.

Evil is Evil and Good is Good understanding reason doesn't make Wrong Right
This post is in reference to Breaking Bad for those of you who don't know. This is right up there with my perspective on Ross from friends or on JD from Scrubs.
Mr. White is a Bad person. He is the Bad guy. Just because the story show's you the Bad guys story and from his perspective doesn't make him the good guy or his choices right or correct. Even if you can see his motivation or under stand his plight he still chose the evil when under the gun. The Good Guy chooses the correct path when put under the gun and most of us just fall some where in between those extremes. Just because you understand the Bad Guys perspective doesn't mean he is good.
I also would like to add that Captain America rang true with every fiber in me as a person... growing up a skinny kid probably had some to do with that.

Vampirella, Witch Doctor, and Sirens
It's been a while since I've posted here. A lot of cool things have been going on in my life, but still hoping for more acting and film opportunities. I keep my tumblr, twitter, and facebook up to date better than this page, but I'll keep sending things here.

She's Not Worth It! Trailer
I was in a film last summer and to be honest I wasn't sure if it would see the light of day, but now it's got a trailer. There is a warning this film will be Rated - R and the trailer already is so, I welcome your support, but don't be shocked.
I enjoyed playing this character it was grittier and rough than a lot of characters I've been before and heck getting a kissing scene is always nice. I'm interested to see how the story plays out since when I was working on the film the ending was still up in the air and I also don't know all of the story.

Keep on.
Life has been moving. I hope that everyone of you is well. My family has been dealing with some hard times. My grandfather has cancer and is not doing well.
I have been dealing with reminding myself of why I am doing things the way I am. I have been enjoying the journey, but at times I question, as John Mayer says, "if I'm living it right."
We at Heroes and Dreams Productions have been blessed by the talent of a new member Jon King. I hope that he stays with us for along time and can help us to get things off the ground with some Production jobs or contest pieces.
So here is the first of a three part episode about Red Shirt Guy on Bags and Boards.
